This was and one of the first books I learned how to read and it seems to remain a popular book amongst children and parents. It contains all the words that children learn to read and spell at a beginners level and also has that kind of humor that children find funny and also that of those parents don't mind sharing with their children. It's a classic and I feel that it will remain one even with our children's children.
I like Dr.Sues books as well. Which one is your favorite? I think they are good for early readers. Although they can be very wordy ( i think i spelled that right) and the a lot of pages to read. My son likes to read the books. we usually take turns reading the pages.
ReplyDeleteI love Dr. Suess books and I think Cat in the Hat will always be my all time favorite. He has a way of using words that makes it fun to read and easy to remember, like a poem.
